I got two sets of greeting cards from your titles, Change of Heart and The Magic Eastern Leaf. I had them printed with a black background – they look just GREAT! Isn’t that the truth! I usually just stay at home on those days. I can understand perfectly why a woman might choose to veil herself! When I was a child in the 1950s women in the US wore hats, and sometimes used a veil with this sort of pattern to pull down from the hat over at least her eyes.
