Hello
My name is Dorothy. I live in the USA but am originally from London England, I am 82 years old, I call myself an “archaic war bride”, married a GI and came to the States many years ago. I have always loved photography, I wanted to be a painter and tried but was a very frustrated artist so I turned to photography when my Mum bought me an early model box camera, We were not allowed to hang about taking photographs during the war, however so my collection from those years is limited. I love all kinds of images, I am still not very good but I have fun trying. I am enjoying all the wonderful talent I see here, many of which have helped me with giving me ideas for my own pictures, so I thank you and thank you to all the members who have helped me from time to time. Incidently I am the eldest of five living generations the youngest of whom is 4 years old ! I also design stationery for email express , I started a group called Unique Stationery about 12 years ago, Although I turned the group over to one of my moderators when my husband became ill with Alzheimer Disease and Cancer I still particpate in it.
