Steve Damascus
Profile
I live in Chicago and work in systems on a mainframe computer. I have worked as a professional photographer and a darkroom technician. I most admire the classical black and white photographers; Edward Weston, Minor White, Ralph Gibson, Larry Clark, Jerry Burchard and Alfred Stieglitz. I work in both film and digital but still prefer film for monochrome (especially infrared), which I process myself.
I look for details, often in places that might be overlooked.
