Falling through the dark crevices,
Falling into the terrible world below,
A world filled with Hatred, Evil, and corruption,
Falling into a world filled with unfeeling people,
people who exclude, shun, and torment those who are different from them,
These down trod people only wish to fit in while staying themselves,
And so I say I’m falling,
Falling into the dark, cold, unfeeling world,
A world that shuns me for who I am,
A world that cannot accept me for me,
And as I fall I dream.
Dream of that perfect world,
A world without judgmental people,
A world of peace,
That is the world I wish for as I fall,
farther and farther,
Away from my perfect world,
Into the world without hope, trust or kindness,
A place we are forced to call home,
I plunge into what is left of our world….
A poem of the deep dark feelings we have but never wish to express for fear of scorn from others.
