Your chestnut eyes were
the entrance,
the open door that I raged into
and found a way of
not existing,
where delicate whispers
copied themselves and disappeared,
submerging deep into the crevices
of hearts where things
can never be forgotten

As my heart pounds
to the rhythm of
your silent siren
I toss my life aside
and welcome the turning
of our bodies together
our flesh, our blood,
the storm inside of us that
thrushes our hands out like lightening
shocking our systems into
believing there is nothing
beyond this moment,
only a blank calm
where I can no longer
resign myself to stay

It is in that blissful moment
I choose to die completely
in the low cries of your hips,
the volcano’s fury that roars
from behind your skin
and urges me to free fall
into the lava pool that
pulses within your veins
so that I can finally see
the beautiful fragments
of a new life

There is no going back from this

This death sits on the edge
of my lips, awaiting the moment
where you reach towards me
and lead me into the fatal hurricane
that will drown my connection
from a forever bland existence
and take me beyond

I throw myself in and die

Death, from the fatal sword of passion
life, from the power within love
We surge into a new existence

A resurrection of sorts,
where the cry of hearts
can never break up the wholeness
of our new world
