when you ask me
what is wrong and I am quiet
can’t you see that
my tears are my words
and they are calling to your soul?
don’t you hear how I
speak to you like this?
open your heart,
cry with me,
drown in my language
then hold me gently to
dry my hearts anguish,
speak to me in
the many dialects
of happiness
I will swallow your words
and there will be laughter
where our lips are touching
allow our hearts to talk to each other
I am a dreamer, artist, and mother. I dance in the rain, spend too much time reading books, and live for my family. I am a gypsy, poet, musician, and artist. But most of all, I am a butterfly fairy. Come dream with me.

Gentle and beautifully expressed longing; a sensitive awareness of communication at a deeply felt level and the need for space in between people, there is a passage in ‘the Prophet’ where Kahlil Gibran talks about the space between a harp strings being vital to its music. This is a definite favorite for me
awwwww yesss.. you can tell me about kahlil gibran all day all year. beautiful comment, george. thank you.
