By day I am an average woman; a wife, mother, sister, friend. I am a career woman, a part-time student, on the board of the local PTA, give time to charities, and spend as much time as possible with my beautiful family.
By night I am an insatiable dreamer. I live at the edge of a shimmering river that beholds water which whispers tales of hope, love, sorrow, and all the intensities of life. With these hushed songs floating in my head, I often reach for my feathered quill to re-paint the world as I see fit. I am a full-time idealist and often waltz between the alternate realities in my mind (hence ShadowDancing).
Thank you for taking a moment to look at my bubble page. I hope you find something of interest and perhaps even inspiration. Feel free to drop me a note, I love meeting fellow bubblers.
A poet is a nightingale, who sits in darkness and sings to cheer its own solitude with sweet sounds. Percy Bysshe Shelley

From my perch, sheltered amongst the / evergreen gods overlooking the cliffs, / I hear the mountain breathe.
“I love you,” he said / and drew lines / in the sand of his emotions
Our conversations / Were laid out / Like a linen blanket / On forest green grass
But you, with your heart on your sleeve / and a child in your eyes,
that charcoal night of / dusky vines / and earth swallowing earth,
last night’s sky covered my lips / with his
