Description: "The eternal nature of spirit/energy binding all life/matter together. "
The first in a series I am working on, dealing with symbols and archetypal imagery.
Here, represented as strikingly, powerfully, and yet as simply as possible with a minimum of 3d modeling, lighting and juxtaposition of images to convey a sense of the interconnectedness of eternal and finite things.
The Ankh is a symbol of LIFE. A joining of energy and physical matter is inherent within the ankh symbol itself as it combines two symbols: the ‘circle’ meaning ‘eternal spirit’ above a ‘cross’ or ‘tau’ meaning physical matter. The point where they meet is the connection of matter and energy. With a light-flare shaped like a figure 8 on its side emanating from it this symbol for infinity also alludes to the eternal nature of spirit/energy binding all life/matter together.
Also, the 7 pointed star (in the flare-rays of light) is composed of the number 3 for spirit, over 4 the number for the physical world expanding the notion that material forms are governed by, and made up of, energy.
I have incorporated the male and female symbols next to the Ankh symbolizing how two opposites of one species, can bond together, creating the most wondrous things we as human beings can experience: LOVE and LIFE.
The eternity of love, and the coming together of opposites; Both unique and different in biology, but sharing equal place in the infinite universe.
An egg shape behind these symbols represents a spiritual base behind all things, and a light behind each of us: the light of life, love, and universe we all share.
