King tides, the last day of hols, and some new toys to play with!
Sadly it is the end of holidays for me. Today is my last day off after around 3.5 weeks or so of leave (I really shouldn’t complain, huh?!).
I decided to spend part of it by taking some shots of the massive king tide that has hit the east coast of Australia. I thought of some possible venues and decided that some shots of a Sydney icon might be a good idea – Bondi Beach and the Bondi Iceberg…

A sale!!
Just got home after an exhausting weekend on the New South Wales mid-north coast and very pleasantly surprised to find I made a sale! Very big thanks to the person who purchased “Winter Snowgum”. Very chuffed and cheered me up no end!

Holy crap!! I just opened up my Redbubble overview and some kind, generous, thoughtful, considerate, wonderful person has chosen to purchase a card of my artwork.
I just about fell off my chair in shock! Big smiles all round.
The proceeds will be used to fund my trip to Indonesia next month.
I’m gonna crack a scotch to celebrate this huge milestone!!

Howdy! I was shown this site by a good mate some time ago, but it has taken some months for me to actually sign up and add some pics.
I have to say I am a little over-awed by the quality and creativity of the work on here. Inspiring to say the least, and it provides a lot of incentive for the novice like me to get out there and enjoy the endless opportunities that photography offers.
