A Valley called Love

I knew a valley unknown
Though endorsed with milky streams, they do not know
Milky streams and woven dreams of fortunes-granted
I knew a valley not visited
Although my heart would pride itself, and call itself its king
A king of this valley, but yet it does not know its hidden secrets
I knew a glove of forgiven love
I wore it every time to show off my amazing conceit
The conceit that brought me into this valley unknown
But yet this valley I have traveled too many times
A land of blindness and hearts’ foolishness
Of heartaches and joys’ carelessness
Of joys and promises’ reluctance
Promises fulfilled and promises neglected
They dare not disturb me and enter my valley
For my heart has made me king
Hope their hearts had made me king
I’m a hermit in a crowded land
This valley they all knew before
Which now they do not even see
I might just welcome them into my valley
I might just feast them on my table
But they may not conspire against me to take away my valley
If they can just be wise, they might just see that their valleys have them waiting
They do have their own but they desire mine
This is my valley, you may not have
You have your own I may not have
This is my Love.
