Thanks Shylie, this has been an addicting project…the author: J.C. Evans, has an amazing talent for prose that keeps me at my best.

This is spectacular!!!! I love blue jays, lizards – all animals! Definitely looks like such a wonderful story here – the work is absolutely outstanding!!!! WOW!! Instant fave! xx
Wow, thanks maxy…this is one of my faves from the book as well.
Lovely. I am trying to decide if this is acrylic or digital … ???
Thank you BLYTHART, good eye…it is actually digital (painter x). My traditional painting skills have waned and I don’t think I could pull this off with acrylics or oils.
Perfect for children …. Excellent Lucy :)))
Much appreciated Patricia, I’ll be very interested to see how children do perceive the illustrations in this book. I think it will be enjoyable for all ages.
You captured the BlueJay well, another fav.
Thank you very much HKBlack, Blue Jay’s are a great subject. The feather colors are a lot of fun to render.
Hello Brandon..Such splendid composition. Excellent for kid’s book.
Hi Nira, thanks. I’m glad you like it!
wow…this is so wonderful..gorgeous and well done!!
Catherine, much appreciated…you’re too kind.
this is very engaging. at first glance i was already drawn into the image…wanting to know what is going on…what are they looking/gathering for…i like the movement below…and the colors….really good
Thank you Tania, the cat has actually fallen into the swimming pool after chasing the Jay. Now they are all laughing as he halls himself out to dry.
ha ha this is awesome you did this on computer it looks so real this is absolutely fantastic
Thank you, yeah…the computer is just another medium but I especially love the lack of turpentine and lack of having any messy paints to clean up every night.
Once again much appreciated gerrardt
