©Seth Weaver,Sr. 05/01/09. I ran across this 3 year old pen & ink and marker sketch of mine that was inspired by the old song by Paul Robeson “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child.” I just finished a work of that title soon to be loaded, when further perfected. I thought the slaves in the fields often had to take their young children with them while they worked if there was no one to watch them for them. Imagine a clever mother that told her young baby to stay with the Scarecrow, so Mother could work and occasionally glance over to check out the baby. The Scarecrow became a babysitter plus keeping the crows away. Original multi-tasking. A DigyMix™ creation.

Excellent creation and also a very cool idea… multi-tasking where not expected at all…
