©Seth F. Weaver, Sr. 08/19/13. There is a ice slush beverage in America and possibly in other countries they were called an “Icee,” “Slushee,” or “Slurpee.” They came in assorted unnatural flavors. On a sweltering hot summer day the the first few slurps were delightful but as you drank more from the rather large cup you slowly realized that your throat was frozen and your voiced sounded different. Then as your throat began to thaw out, the the glacier-feeling slowly began to move up towards your head thus causing “Brain Freeze!” This was an awful self-inflicted headache that would painfully persist for 15-20 minutes. You certainly killed brain cells with this icey slurpy beverage. A Compullage™ creation. This image features the late great Ava Gardner.
