Hello, I’m Sarah. I live in inner city Sydney with my fiance and dog Chai. I’m a vegan, pole dancing student and lover of all things coffee. Photography is my passionate and sometimes obsessive hobby.

I have been on hiatus for a couple of years after hitting a brick wall with inspiration, but now I’m back. I have been shooting models as my hobby for around 15 years on and off.

Now I’m not so much interested in the fetish/glamour/looking pretty for the sake of it photos. Moving forward I’m interested in exploring raw artistic works which will require models to channel lots of different emotions and push the boundaries of what is humanly possible with posing. Yoga nuts and dancers apply here! I am very interested in there being some kind of story or scenario behind the shoot, rather than shooting for the sake of it.

I am mostly interested in working on location and it will involve models getting dirty, not only from the surrounds but from the makeup and assorted mess I will put on them to get in character and enhance the textures and story line of the shoot!

I suppose I just want to explain that I’m not after bikini or lingerie models perched on a chair – that is the polar opposite of what I’m all about. If the above sounds like something you as a model (stylist or MUA) are interested in trying please contact me and I look forward to collaborating with you.

I have a full time job, so my shooting is really limited to weekends. I prefer to use natural daylight so nights are generally out. I work with a very bare bones kit, no big lights or lenses. I don’t need to compensate for lack of anything in my pants. I am mostly interested in shooting women, though if you are a guy with an interesting look feel free to contact me.

I have plans for an animal rights themed series so if anyone is passionate about this subject and willing to do what it takes for me to realise my vision please let me know. You will probably not end up looking pretty and glamorous, I’m looking for people willing to help me tell a story. The story isn’t pretty.
