Field of Crosses

Jocelyn Hyers

Field of Crosses

This is an image taken on the snowy road between Brasov & Sinaia in Romania.

I realize that the image is blurred (I was taking photos from the car as our driver was taking us to the airport to return home) but I feel that it adds an element to the image .. almost ethereal …

Image is untouched except for cropping …

Life rushing by forgetting the ones that have fallen before, maybe we all need to slow down sometimes and remember. Lovely photo and l am glad you shared,it is very worthy of being on here.

Very cool! I like the blurriness of it because it makes the crosses look kinda ghostly. Are they really even there?? Who knows…!

    Nice catch hon. ;)

the movement blur does add to the image… like we are all moving on…at a great rate, while others have finally found their place…perhaps even “run their race”...I like it

Absolutely spot on, rushing by as others lay in peace. Highly evocative, love it.
