The Fearies

The Fearies Poem by SERAPHIDART

Upon All Hallow’s Eve this night
All winged Fearies take to flight
Some are rude and some polite
Although these things intend to fright
Don’t close your eyes as may you might
Fail spy Fearies out of sight
Readying to pounce and fight
To put all things wronged, back to right

On this night as black as coal
The Fearies’ have a single role
To seek out those whose nasty goal
Was stealing your immortal soul
If Fearies’ help you want enroll
They will exact a vicious toll
As Fearies’ form of damage control
Ensues crushing your enemies
And swallowing them whole
(a poem written by myself for my children)
