Dragonfly – Connected with water and Springtime, fertility, and renewal. Considered a messenger. To the people of the Zuñi Pueblo (west central New Mexico), the Dragonfly is very important and figures prominently in their culture. Known as Dragon-Fly-Man, it is taboo to kill a Dragonfly for it is believed they possess supernatural power.

This piece has great depth and rich color blend. The upper section of the Dragonfly flutters! Beautiful!
