…and maybe a bloody vicodin.
absolutely love that title, and the shadows and highlights accentuate the back. wish i could take those sititches (staples?) and heal them for you…
Hey, Ruby – thanks for the lovely sentiment :). Good seeing you!
I’ve said it before…..no one makes pain look as beautiful as you do! This is my new favorite, it has this decayed Victorian feel to it that I love!
That’s high praise indeed, Lynsye – thank you so much!.
Hahahaha! Awesome title! =] All I can offer is cocaine?Add this to the art of pain NOW so I can feature it!XXX
*snorts coffee through nose

Thank you, Arcadia!
Thank you so much, Sticky Flower.
Enjoyed the title – witty. And the photo is classic Selkie, full of paradox. There’s pain there, sure, as others have commented on, and there’s a transcendent quality to the piece, as is often the case with your work. And there’s an openness and courage that demands respect. But there’s something else radiating out of the photo that no one has articulated…it’s SEXY! And that’s life-affirming in the best of ways. Congrats yet again, Z.
Geez – can i just have you write my next Gallery blurb? You are the best. xox
