So a little background – i occasionally toy with the idea of using other people in photos with me, and models in general…not that i’ll ever stray far from SP’s, but one does crave a little variety now and then – and i have some very willing victims around me, especially of late.
The Very Tall Bassist is not, in fact, “my Man” or anything like that (although, perhaps there’s a bit of the story i’m leaving to the imagination, here…), but he sure has some cool wristbands, no? ;)

good god zoe… people sometimes give me the delicious treat of telling me that i paint with words… and i think for me, as a writer, the reason your artworks resound so loudly and knock me suqare in my chest is because they tell the whispers of so many possible stories… my mind reels with possibilities here… and i love the little trimmings you’ve added… the very tall bassist... the choice of clothing, the composition, cropping, treatment… colour and tones… and the title… oh, the title. so, basically, what it is that i’m saying is that you’re a damn fine storyteller and i love the creativity of your work.
