This is so stunning! There’s so much pain, hurt, and despair….the cracks and staples showing that, making her broken. The pose is both of complete despair and rejuvination at the same time. Crashing to the floor as you hit bottom or fixing the cracks and mending your body in child’s pose. (yoga) With the ivy growing out of the cracks you can see that there is still life deep down and that this body hasn’t given up the fight yet. There is always life within death. Ivy has amazing healing properties…must be why I see so much hope and rebirth. Ivy is good for gout, rheumatic pain, it reduces fevers, realxes spasms, helps with bad coughs (expectorant), it helps skin irritations like burns, warts, zits, it’s anti-fungal, it helps reduce celulite, and can be used as a pain reliever for tooth aches and swollen joints! :)
