Someday, hopefully by Halloween, this little guy will have grown up and will be decorating a front porch – or maybe- he might be a pumpkin pie:)

beautifully captured Sandy, wonderful colours and details!!
Much appreciated Marens. This was in a small pumpking patch in a fenced off area, and all I could see was the large leaves until I spotted this little opening. I am happy you enjoy it. Thanks for the favorite! Sandy
Wow! Fantastic work,anna
Hi Anna, Your comment and favorite are so appreciated! Thank you! Sandy
Sandy this is gorgeous..You captured such wonderful detail. Keep us posted on it’s growth.. That would be cool.. Did you get your file on the photo?
Yes, file received and I am loving it!!! As to the growth of this little guy, he is about 400 miles away from me! I was at my daughter’s home in So Cal and love to go to this botanical garden. Wish it was growing in my garden though! Thanks Brenda, and thank you for the favorite! Sandy
I love his hairs!!!!!!And I vote for pumpkin pie..I LOVE pumpkin pie!!!Pxx
That is what originally caught my eye also, Polly! You just keep Brian away from him though! LOL. Many years ago my grandson Josh wanted to make a pumpkin pie all by himself for our Thanksgiving dinner. He was about 7 years old at the time. So, I had him do it from scratch-cook the pumpkin and all the rest. He did a fabulous job and baked our pies for a few more years, until someone told him about canned pumpkin pie mix. Then all the joy went out of his baking :(( Some people should leave certain things alone, like Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny. Appreciate your favorite Polly – love to you! Sandy
Thank you so much! I just took a look at your portfolio and I love your work, you see beauty in so many ways! Sandy
This is mouthwatering! Lovely light and sharpness. Do you know Sandy, I have never had pumkin pie – we grow our own veggies and do grow squashes but never pumpkins – can you send me a recipe you would recommend if I give you my email address please?
Sure, would love to. There is also a great squash pie made from butternut squash. We will also not do a crust and put the filling into custard cups and bake. Sandy
What a fantastic shot Sandy , splendid great. ..Jozef
