We Had a Little Wind by seeya

If the grandsons and their friends were still around I would have thought this might be some of their doing. I share a back fence with two separate homes and this blew from one home into the other neighbor’s yard and onto our shared fence. Now we will probably have to gather up some other neighbors to help remove it. Neighborhood bbq tonight perhaps:)

I came……

I saw……

I joined…..

and I am so glad!

Hope the bbq brings you enough help! It looks very impressive! Greetings Thea

  • A friend of my grandsons saw this posted on Facebook and came right over. He and he and the back fence neighbor were able to remove it, so no bbq tonight. It scared the outdoor kitty and she was screaming at the patio door after it happened..lol. Glad you enjoyed this, Thea:) Sandy

THE WIND HAS CREATED A ROGUISH SCENERY …. BUT THE NATURE IS FABULOUS WITH HIS BEAUTIFUL GREEN…SPLENDID SHOT!!!

  • Ah yes, my yard is tending to get a bit on the wild side:) I love your description as to a “roguish scenery” that is perfect, Anna! Thank you and thank for the favorite. Sandy

That’s an amazing shot. Hope you got it back to its rightful place ok

  • A friend of my grandsons came over and helped the back fence neighbor remove it. I think it is has been returned to the other neighbor that owns it. Appreciate your comments:) Sandy

Why remove it…looks like Art to me….this is California after all….wonderful “find” and capture…lol
    Gena

  • At least Dorothy and Toto did not appear! Only in Cali would art “drop in” on you and I was getting rather attached to it, but the back fence neighbor was not so smitten. And, the other neighbor that owns it and also shares my fence hates my trees, hates me, etc, so I was rather amused that it was his property that caused all the commotion. Appreciate your fave and amusing comments, Gena:) Sandy

You certainly must have some mighty winds in your area!!!! Good Luck!!!!
    An excellent capture!!! Bill

  • We do have some mighty gusts. Yesterday the Americus Cup on SF Bay was cancelled due to the winds. I live in a small valley between the SF Bay which is usually about 20deg cooler and what is called the “inland valley” which is usually very hot, so with that and if we get a Low and High pressure areas bumping against each other the winds can be considerable. Thanks for commenting,Bill:) Sandy

Now that’s what is known as a ‘tree canopy’ Sandy!! :)) Good luck! :))

  • I knew you would have the perfect caption, Laurie! One of my honorary grandsons lives around the corner and he came right over when he saw this on facebook. The honorary refers to a very select group of 4 young men that just about lived in my house from kindergarden up to the present time and have remained close friends with my grandsons who did live here:) Sandy
