    Marker pens and oil paint … I can’t say I have seen that combination before, but I must say it looks absolutely fantastic the way you have done it. Did you dilute the oils to a watery (or should I say oily) consistency? I am interested.

    yes, i dilute the oil paints with medium til they’re very watery: i like them cos they don’t make the paper curl, & the coloured pencil i sometimes darken bits with afterward goes on really smoothly! only thing is, it goes yellow very quickly, so you can’t use the oily stuff on any areas that need to stay the original colour, like sky or skin. green landscapes look ok slightly yellowed: they end up an olive green!
