Profile
I was born in Frankfurt Germany, lived in Dublin from age 1 to 8, and then moved to Buncrana, Co.Donegal. Since then I have lived in Galway and Edinburgh. Now I am based in Dublin once again. I have always had a keen interest in art be it drawing, sculpture or design. I have been privileged to have won a few awards for drawings while at primary school and later for painting.
Throughout my childhood I was very keen on design and animation, however, since I started painting at age 17, I felt this was the direction I wanted to go. I attended art collage in GMIT Galway where I studied fine art; however I did not enjoy the course and left after one year. I then completed a degree in Marketing and Tourism. Since Art College I have moved away from art, not painting or drawing for 3 years until last year. Now I am back painting and I enjoy it more than I ever did. I like to paint landscapes, seascapes, portraits and abstract. I try to paint different themes so as to appeal to everyone. I like to try to convey meaning and feeling in my workwhile using bright powerful and contrasting colours as well as being both tight and loose in my work.
