I dont see the small figures of men clearly, cause even when you enlarge the image it is still too small. are they catching birds cause they dont have the ones of their own?

Haha well that’s one interpretation hehe. If they do, they’re indeed bastards… I think we would be scared if we know how many people in this world try to catch and taste a bit of rare exotic birds… Giving them back the right attention is often another story.
I was allready a little affraid the details would go lost again.. Might be primarily because of the low contrast but I’ll make it a bit darker tomorrow..

ok, now they look like their “cages” are empty! lol
but I got your idea, Sebastiaan. It is indeed sad how people are trying to make a fancy of having somethign exotic when they dont contribute the extra work to preserve what they’ve got. As every thought needs work and care of it, so do the birds deserve some attention :-)

Have to go now but I will look through your gallery when I’m back. A few days ago I saw you had added a lot of your ‘older’ work, mostly with ink. Interesting..
