Praise of life
This is my very first painting experience. With many thanks to Sally and Rebecca from the Flinders Medical Centre for giving me the great gift of expressing my creativity. with full of joy and excitement, with lots of gratitude and many thanks to those who can see and realize the pertential for the visual arts on people who have sight impairement.

Wow Jo, this is fantastic and you looked so happy painting it. The colours are awesome. What were the main thoughts going through your mind as you were painting this? .

thanks maya, glad you like it. not too sure what exactly on my mind when i’m doing this painting. the feeling of excitement, joy and celebration are very strong. while i mixing the colour with my finger, looking all the colour changes on the empty brown paperboard towards colour of life, it is just like putting life to a piece of empty blank paper to become alife. i guess, it is some sort of reflaction on life, we come from absolute nothing, and we are the one who choose to write something on our board, and bring it with us forever.

What a wonderful creation. well done.. I have just turned my laptop upside down to see if they are little faces yes they are .Or perhaps it is just me… I have just done my first finger painting and it is fun and very satisfiying

thanks alot for the comment. it touches my heart deeply. haven’t thought about little faces, but when i put it upside down, it does create little faces image. maybe just the sort of technique that i use…
