He was a frustrated man,
Full of worry and angst
Never knowing what his life meant.
He would walk around town
wearing a confused frown
and yelling “clarity wash me down!”
The man could not start on either part
of his life that brought him worry
paying bills, clearing debt
or whether to pointlessly fight for faux glory.
The one day he yelled, “STOP!” and he ran and ran
to the river of serenity where all gentile people clan.
He sat and he stared at the primal bare beauty
where a thought said “yes, I know well and truly…”
“All my life I’ve been bent on the ground, never quite seeing beyond my ‘homeward bound’"
“And now that I see; this tranquil sea, I know my life is defined by me”
