so .. I have a question. Do you have to have both photoshop and devianart to do this? Im kinda new at this but very interested in what you did here!! Any help would be great! TY!
Sue Nueckel replied
Hi Tracey,
Photoshop is a graphics program which if you haven’t already got you can download a trial version of it here: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?loc=en&product=photoshop.
Deviant art is a web site for artists similar (but not better ;) than Redbubble. If there is anything else I can help you with please just ask :)
cheers

Sharon Hammond
Thanks Sue…always wondered how you did it. It’s interesting that you still keep all the detail after the dodging
Sue Nueckel replied
Your welcome Sharon :)
However with the dodging tool I tend to go lightly over the eye avioding too much pressure on the pupil.
some ppl tend to go full hammer n tongs and end up with a rather unrealistic look, which is OK if that’s what your looking for.
I also go very lightly on the burn (more so that the dodge) as you can end up with some yucky dark results.Keep practicing and see what you end up with.
I have to say I never get the same results twice which is good in a way as each pair of eyes I do always end up different :)
