Hello!
I am a self taught photographic and digital artist. It took awhile to give myself permission to call myself an artist. But, one day I looked up the definition of an artist and I realized there is a little artist in all of us in one form or another. You just have to allow that artist to step out of the shadows.
I’ve enjoyed photography every since I received my first little instamatic for a birthday present as a teenager. But, it wasn’t til the advent of digital photography that I was really able to express myself. With a point and shoot camera, some inexpensive imaging software and my PC, I’ve been able to allow my inner artist to shine.
I have a rather eclectic style. My photographic subjects are mainly nature and wildlife. Granted the wildlife lives at the local zoo. But, I hope someday to photograph them in their natural environments. Then there’s my digital collages. They range from the whimsical to the beautiful and inspirational. Something to suit most any taste.
I hope my artwork gives you the same joy is has given me. But, more importantly, I hope you are inspired to search for and allow your inner artist’s light shine.
