My photography is presented as Sea Change Photography. This relates to the sea change in my life when I ceased employment to retire early, and delving into photography. I have finally managed to contemplate my change and this is the result. I hope you enjoy this – hardest part was trying to keep it reasonably serious LOL

The Sea Change of my Life

And now I have entered the ‘sea change’ of my life
Freed from employment and all its strife
No more bosses
with all their neurosis
No more team
of staff to lead
No more commute on the train to the city
But no more pay – and that’s a pity!!

I am free to enjoy the sunset of my years
But holding me back still, are all my fears
Left with scars
I pray will pass
and free my mind
Let me unwind
so I can enjoy all the beauty the world has to give
in the years I have left before I cease to live

My ‘sea change’ is exciting, I enjoy being free
To ponder all that lies ahead and rediscover ‘me’
I’m free to row
my boat and grow
There’s places to be
and friends to see
There’s so much that I want to do in my time
First, I wish I could think of a better last line that rhymes.
