Sunrise, and I noticed these kangaroos outside the fence at the end of our property. Our area has been steadily developing and these kangaroos hop around the suburbs.Queensland, AustraliaCanon 5D Mk ll

I have deer sometimes in my yard, but to see kangaroos would really be something else! Neat capture!
Thanks, I guess anything different to the usual would be something else. We get a bit used to it because I see them pretty regularly, but to see deer, that would be very spectacular I reckon :)
Thankyou so much :)
I suppose you’re right, it’s all in what you are use to seeing. I only see these in zoos!!
Yes, that’s the only place that I see deer, unless they are in a special breeding or wildlife park. But admittedly, deer can be seen in various forms in most countries of the world, whereas kangaroos are unique to Australia, unless they are in a zoo as you say. Once you get used to something you get quite blase about them.
What a site to wake up to!!! I would never see this here!!!
Thanks so much for the feature :) Yes, it would be very unusual! They are usually pretty shy animals, but very nosey too, as you can see, they were checking me out as I was checking them out too.
thats cool – great pic !
Thanks Dean :)
