I have always loved photography for as long as I can remember. Teenager, I used to borrow my dad’s old Olympus SLR and snap away in black and white, going for wanders in Paris with my best friend. I would then develop my own films and photos in our high school dark room. I purchased my own first decent camera with my own earned money when I was 18, living in NYC as an au pair. From then on it has been a slow journey taking me to digital when I had my first boy, in 2006. I have not stopped since looking at our world with excited eyes. Always on the look out, or as we say in French, ‘hunting images’, I suppose I see myself as an ‘image hunter’ who loves collecting, storing, playing, photoshopping the wonders of nature, architecture, people, urban life, and most of all the innocence of my children.
As a suit in advertising in a previous life, it has allowed me to sharpen my eye, my taste, my curiosity and develop my little knowledge in digital manipulation.
As a mother and a wife, I find tremendous pleasure in observing my little world grow, and capturing the world evolving around my family. I just feel and see, hoping the result might be pleasing to my eye, and the others’ too…
Thank you for taking the time to look at my pictures!
