sonia…….. o. my.. I adore this . this is they type of photography I have in my brain:).. but I cannot seem to execute:)))) …….. so lovely , such a perfect light and feel like you are there ….
thank you Isa, I had totally forgotten about that Black and White series, it is so nice to get back to it, what an amazing feeling. I can feel the cold, and the cold inside, I was so lonely and missing my mummy in France, I was 19…I remember it with sadness, tenderness, pride and Passion ;-)

oh. and BTW… I miss Ny with all of my heart as well:)
thank you Isa, i can tell you know…
Wonderful work. I have a love hate relationship with my small city. it has lost its character but it is still the same place, so i am still here, but it has gone, the other way around for me !
Thank you Ric, I’m sure it’ll come round again ;-)
Love this Sonia, great tones and image – it has that timeless feel to it :)
Thank you Trish, I had totally forgotten about my NY black and whites, can you believe they were rotting in a box in my garage…!
Amazing shot Sonia!! This image has such an absorbing quality to it that it feels as though I can hear it, if you can understand that!!! Gorgeous work!!! As Trish said, timeless!! :))
I can totally understand, I think that’s the slow feel i felt as well, it’s slow, with a deafening quietness as if time had stopped (timeless!). Thank you Vicki ;-)
wonderful strange ambiance to this shot
Thank you very much Christine
what a wonderfully classic shot this is…i love it! it doesn’t seem like it could be nyc at all with such low energy…
I know! I think that’s what makes this picture, the paradox of the city that never sleeps and that heavy deafening muffled silence! Thanks Tania ;-)
super shot. love the plumber van on the left
I love it too, I guess i went quick, didn’t want to wait any longer in case the lights went green, and it wasn’t digital times, so no snapping away! but it actually added character, or maybe I’m not giving myself enough credit and i meant it this way?… so long ago!!! thanks for your nice comment!
Really enjoying this phot. Thanks for posting it.
Thank you very much Chuck, glad you like it ;-)
