An architectural photographer would be trying to ‘avoid’ the slanting angle of the building on the right – but in my opinion it adds to the shot and makes the shot look more ‘compact’ – as if the building on the right is trying to ‘squeeze into the shot’. Old and New – nice contrast. Love the lighting. ABFAB Sonia.

thank you !!! i’ve actually seen a couple of pictures from this angle, and would you believe it, the restaurant at the top’s card is taken from this exact same point of view, at a wider angle!
