I was raised in the Indiana Dunes National Park. I have lived in Florida, California, Illinois, and Arkansas (yes, Evening Shade where the tv show was situated, population 465). Jobs with the visually and hearing impaired, developmentally challenged, psychiatric wards, nursing homes, coaching, teaching, juvenile delinquints and other populations. With my traveling and various types of people I have met along the way has impacted my life and my thoughts. This first painting that I had commissioned is No Holding Time. A vision that I’ve carried with me for years and grateful to have found an artist, Peggy Ann Meitzen, to make it come to life. I am currently working on a children’s book, Gino the Minnow, which empowers children of all ages to do their part in helping keep our water areas clean. The book and website of the same name as the title should be up and running soon. I look forward to meeting other creative people and hope to learn and grow from our experiences.
