After 10 years of painting the Scottish landscape, my recent work becomes more involved with cloudcover and its effect on light and colour through both its translucent and opaque properties. Clouds have the ability to refract and reflect, creating an ever changing perception of light which inspires my use of colour.

Wow! You see the thumbnail and it immediately grabs your attention then you open it up and there is so much more to see.
Love it, love them!
Love the colours in this, and in your other works. Superb!
Lovely paintings, interesting work
Breathtaking. Truly.
breathtaking, it is… i love your art…
Nice use of loose vs. tighter painting. I like how you show us that you know how to use detail when you need it, yet deliberately loosen up when it comes to bolder, brighter color. The real/abstract feel to this works nicely. Well done.
Fabulous artwork Scott, excellent use of colour and instantly recognisable as Scotland!
