After 10 years of painting the Scottish landscape, my recent work becomes more involved with cloudcover and its effect on light and colour through both its translucent and opaque properties. Clouds have the ability to refract and reflect, creating an ever changing perception of light which inspires my use of colour.

What a collector’s edition, Scott! January’s is stunning, and September’s has such surprising graphic appeal! I’ve commented on most of the others, this morning. It’s great to see this work. I was suffering from Naismith paintings withdrawals. :)
