Just struck me, Scott – at the rate that you produce these oil paintings you must have problems waiting for them all to dry before you can sell them! At least with acrylics I can stack mine up after 24 hours…

Yes, it is a problem oil painters must get over, and it means having a lot of work “queued up” in the studio before final glaze and framing. I use various paint additives to help the drying a little.
I used to (and still sometimes) paint in acrylic. I was producing about 250+ paintings a year on unframed canvas! Much prefer the oils though, producing less than 100/year.
