With hands held high into a sky so blue
As the ocean opens up to swallow you ….

(Shinoda, Bennington, Farrell, Delson, Bourdon, Hahn)

I’ve felt a need to paint this for the longest of times. Huge thanks to to the lads of Linkin Park for writing a song that got into my head in such a profound way.

Amazing work!!! Love your expression…LP’s words (you have quoted) are frightening yet liberating at the same time….well, to me they are :)

  • I feel exactly the same way Carol! I’ve always found those particular lyrics to be somehow empowering…. ‘liberating’ is a very good word for it :)
