Something I shot quite a while ago with a plan to hang it on my newly painted kitchen wall.
It’s been a while, but I’m finally organised :)

A few people have asked me what the fruit is here. They’re actually oranges! (it’s an enormous cup) When we moved into this house my 4 yr old was so excited to have fruit trees that he picked lots of the fruit for me because he thought we could eat them at any time. We had to explain that he had to leave them to turn orange :)

[canon 1000D, 50mm, F/2, fruit from my garden & my favourite winter soup cup :)]

That’s so beautiful. That is the perfect kitchen shot.

  • Thanks Lorraine! Now that the painting is done I’m slowly introducing my favourite colour :)
This should be perfect for where I’d like it.

    Great shoot :)

Is it a big cup or small limes? Confused ;P

  • Hehe, you’re not the first person to ask me that, so I’ve added some extra info into my description :)
It’s a little bit of both actually – really big cup (like a bowl), and the limes are actually immature oranges, so qutie small. There’s about 10 pieces of fruit in there :)
