We’ve had the coldest and wettest spring on record here in Queensland, but that’s a good thing. The rains have broken the drought, our gardens are teeming with gorgeous spring blooms and everything is green.
There’s still not even any sign of the stifling heat that can be so overbearing in the warmer months.

Beautiful! I’m loving the texture you’ve used here.

As for the weather…a couple of hot days…that’s all. Very cool and wet. Summer officially starts tomorrow. Whatever happened to spring??

  • Thanks Lorraine. I’m pleased you like the texture. I’ve got this old wooden chair that has no back on it any more, and it’s got lovely cracked, peeling paint. My sister had it loaded in the trailer for a trip to the dump, but I said “no, that’s coming with me”……Robert rolled his eyes :)

Such pretty treatment and one of my favorite flowers Rosemary. You’ve done so well to capture the translucence of their petals.

  • Thanks Rosie, that’s lovely of you. They’re beautiful flowers aren’t they! :)
