fantastic shot Rosemary!! wish they had eye patches like this when I was younger,,,I actually ran into a lit ciggerette,,, and had to wear an eye patch for a month!! love the lighting,,,, well done

His favourite look suits him, he looks so cute in this outfit!! I love the monkey’s face on the eye patch too. Beautiful image, the lighting and shadow on the side of his face is perfect!!! His eye is so crisp and sharp, makes for a fantastic image. He will treasure this when he is older.

“Arrgh! What a treasure ye have thar, matey!”
This is one of those “once in a lifetime” photos! My 4 yr old son just walked by and exclaimed, “A monkey pirate! Is that me?” For he too, has been a pirate for 3 weeks, except his patch is plastic leaving an impression mark. Maybe he shouldn’t wear it to bed, eh?

Luckily we haven’t been wearing the patch to bed (yet…), but we’ve had many shopping trips with Captain Feathersword which is interesting….

In this shot I’m actually reminded of the lost boys from Peter Pan…. I know the lost boys weren’t pirates, but they had lots of pirate adventures!!

Don’t you know that piracy’s not about the money….. it’s about a life at sea with no laws but the pirate’s code….. it’s about some bloke called Davy Jones (wasn’t he a monkeee???) & rolling all of your Rrrrrs…..
in this case I think it’s more about a really cool eye-patch & bandanna!!

I had to come back to look at this beautiful bloke!! So sweet!!
Also wanted to tell you that last night someone asked my son what he had been for halloween. “I wathn’t a monkey pirate! Jutht a wegala pirate.” Then in he began to tell the story of another little boy who was a monkey pirate. My son even said how “cute” your son was! LOL!
