Before Duct Tape and Gorilla Glue, we fixed things with baling wire. A long time ago, well before the personal computer, my father and my father-in-law taught me the virtues of baling wire after it was removed from the bale. I still believe no garage is complete unless there is a modicum of baling wire gracing the walls. This was found on a horse drawn wheeled scraper circa 1890 – 1900. Taken in rural Lincoln County, South Dakota, USA.
