Sunrise Behind the Lighthouse

Sometimes being an early bird pays off, as was the case when I went to photograph the lighthouse in Grand Haven, Michigan. As the sun came up the clouds seems to magically part and create beautiful colors and such special sun rays that danced across the sky and silhouetted the stately lighthouse structure and elevated walkway. It was a real pleasure to behold!
