Molly (Yorkie) and Brooke (Boxer mix) play their “I’m meaner looking than you” game. But they are just playing and are actually very good buds.

Brooke was no longer wanted by her original owners after she grew up. Molly was no longer wanted after she was late in her puppy stage. She was deemed as unacceptable for breeding. So both now live with us and our third rescue dog Oshie (shepherd mix), all of who are dearly loved, and will be forever.

    Thanks David. I sure snapped a bunch of photos to get one good one. The big one would look meaner if we could see her lip curled up on the other side. Too bad I don’t have the sound effects. They sound like their killing eachother!

    Yikes!!!!!! I had a tenacious little Yorkshire Terrier (Maggie) who would sit by a gopher hole for hours waiting to get at it!!!!!! This is a wonderful capture!!!!

    No, she never got the gopher!! She did, however, come into contact with a skunk one winter – an awfully smelly mess she was!!!!!! She died at the age of 13 – a very sweet dog, really!!

    Oh no… a skunk!!! I hope she wasn’t hurt, and that our Yorkie never does that! We’re on our third Yorkie now. Some of our other breeds have tangled with skunks though. Not fun!

    This is just hilarious! I am glad you said they are only playing. Little Molly looks tougher than a barnyard dog with those teeth totally bared like that. She looks like what she lacks in size she makes up in attitude. Great capture and I loved your story.

    Haha…just look at those two ‘drama queens’..!....Maybe you could put them on the stage and make some money out of them lol…The little one does a great “I’m the scariest, most savage beast on earth!” face, while the big one shows half-hearted restraint with a “Now look here squirt..I don’t want to hurt you but I just might have to put you in your place if you don’t cool it” expression….Priceless capture…and I’m sure rescue dogs give the best fun-value…Mine does.
