Some people will steal from you

Whether a gift or from the sweat of your pores
And the only thing left you is your prayers
Gee that is a nice ring she gave you
Take it off so I can have a better look
Will be the last time that you see it too
What have you to whinge about you dumb sook
Remember that new camera you left on the table
That was sold cheap to their best friend
Honesty among family and friends is a fable
You will eventually learn the lesson in the end
Come out of a coma and can’t remember a thing
The things your lover gave will no longer give you grief
That is not yours it has always been mine the song they sing
Family or friend no honesty found from a thief
Don’t go complaining or say that is mine
The second thing they stole was the receipt
Stealing from family or friends they don’t see a crime
And as they say, how are you going to prove it.
