I Am, Also

I Am, Also

More fool me
For trusting anyone
Then to not see
The same fool again
In trusting me

Look to yourself
To find the one to blame
There is no path to wealth
And only eternal shame
Looking to yourself

There are no rules
In love or in war
Only the hearts of fools
Are given to a whore
These are the winners rules

They say in victory peace
For only those who died
All lose their fleece
And only a mother cried
For a son who died for peace

More fool am I
For trusting anyones’ voice
Knowing all will die
And an offer is not a choice
To a fool such as I.

What is that GW Bush quote again?

“fool me once, shame on … shame on you. It fool me. We can’t get fooled again.”"

  • Thanks … I am still trying to figure out what Bush said…
