Just a comment on a few places in the world that go through crisis and displacement to have some mineral company move in later to claim what was “abandoned’; while the refugees that own the land waste away in refugee centres.
And then their is the “Intervention” in the Northern Territory of Australia that is robbing Indigenous peoples of their assets…. too..

Herd them all off their land
They don’t know what it is worth
Not seeing the minerals in the sand
To them it is only just earth

The minerals are there for the taking
The Corporate world needs the profit
This years new mobile phone in the making
More profit if their rights they forfeit

Drive them all off with our corporate mercenaries
No-one will be wiser when it is them they blame
Just some ethnic disturbance bringing them to their knees
To waste the abandoned wealth would be a shame

The mineral wealth spills through their hands
As they wash away the blood that they spill
Corporate mobsters sponsoring militias in bands
For a new phone for you they will kill

It is not your fault the phone that you use
Made in China, Korea or is it Taiwan
The minerals stolen in Africa is an abuse
The blame not ours it is on another man

Drive them and herd them away
Make it appear like someone elses war
Look what they left for us that day
A chevron worn by another political whore.
