Resurrection and the Light

Gregory John O'Flaherty

Resurrection and the Light

I feel we are being offered the same temptation written of in Genesis, and worked for by the Pharohs of old. the first to be cloned, a Lamb…. why ?

The Egyptian Book of The Dead- The Papyrus of ANI, lays out the proceedure….

Stuff the temptation…

No offence meant to anyone

Spawn from the tree
Of knowledge of Good and Evil
Eternal life to be
The offering of the Devil

Resurrection from death
Reborn again and new
God given breath
The way and the True

Rebirth of the Lamb
From the depth of the Tomb
Resurrection the light I am
The Sun through the gloom

Before you I am
The promise reborn
The Holy new Lamb
From death was torn

The Offering of the Ages
Priest King enthroned
Song of the Sages
From the Tomb enrobed

I am the Way and the Light
All must be reborn anew
The Lamb to the fight
The promise to you

An offering to your Fathers
And the bane of your son
Sacrifice of the Virgin Mothers
The Prophecy again begun

The Great Temptation reborn
A new covenant began
A Child love has torn
From the verse which we sang

The bones of the fallen
Rise up to live once more
Out of Egypt again risen
Under the Beast and the Whore

They rose Tombs to the future
To preserve the Kings of the past
The thought of rebirth to nurture
Risen the first and the last

Is this the promise given
The Lamb come once again
Worshiped in Egypt as God living
The name of Amen

Do not take the offered fruit
No matter the name you have lost
How ever played by sweet flute
Your soul it will cost

I am however in favour of Cloning,
and anything else which could potentially,
improve our way of life, if tampering with genetics
could extend or even reverse my age,
    then sign me up ;)

    P.S. the Pitfulls of Cloning,
are covered extensively in ‘Brave New World’
    one of my favourite Book…
