Look in the Mirror Occasionally

Listen to yourself
As you go about your criticism
Haven’t you seen enough
Or learnt from your own lesson
You’ve done it all yourself
If you take a minute to look
It’s all sitting there on the shelf
In your memory like a book
So you think you have the right
To sit yourself down in judgment
Thinking all has been in your sight
While your whole history has been bent

I have a bad habit of mouthing off and critising, usually my syblings. I rightfully get reminded to have a look in the mirror occassionaly. This came from doing that. Had previously been posted.

What a crucial first line, Gregory, and it couples perfectly with the impetus of your poem.
